What is unsplash?
Unsplash is an open source website and api that developers can use for obtaining quality images. All of the images have an open source licensing which means they can be used for both private and professional purposes free of charge.
This program is just a short-cut to viewing all of the available images with whatever ratio you choose (width x height).
Larger values will appear the same here, but will have a better resolution for your applications, or you can use smaller values for smaller file sizes (whichever suits you best).
Once the files are in view you can drag & drop or right click and save any image to any folder (normal). You can also check whichever ones you like, and then click either the download icon to download all the images at once, or click the clipboard icon to copy the html code to the clipboard for all the images chosen.
Anyone new to this should start with 400 x 400 for faster downloading. Other sizes/ratios can be explored as you get more comfortable with this, especially since the top or sides of some images are sometimes cut off a little depending on the ratio.
